Chifley Police District Chief Inspector Gerard Powell said a 34-year-old man was driving a Nissan station wagon, attempting to turn into Stockland Drive.
"He was stopped on Sydney Road and turned right into Stockland, but failed to see the oncoming vehicle," he said.
His vehicle collided with a Toyota Kluger, which was being driven by a 45-year-old woman.
No injuries were sustained in the crash, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Chief Inspector Powell said the 34-year-old was breath tested at the scene and returned a positive result.
Police arrested the man and conveyed him to Bathurst Police Station for further breath analysis, where police allege he returned a reading of 0.111.
"He returned a reading in the mid range. He was issued with a court attendance notice for mid-range PCA and his licence was suspended," Chief Inspector Powell said.
