Adam Stephens from Bonnie Doon Golf Club in Sydney took the top honours in A grade, claiming the N J Holmes Cup with a 36 hole score of 141.
The Bathurst pairing of Darren Smith and Justin Hurst shot 145, with Smith claiming second on a countback. Hurst didn’t go home empty handed as he claimed the 36 hole handicap winners’ trophy on a countback from David Lilly on 137.
The J Brooke Moore Cup for B grade went to Bathurst’s own Peter Moase (161), who narrowly defeated Russ McCarthy on 162.
The 36 hole handicap winner was Graeme Fish with 137 from Craig Lewis on 141.
The battle for the E J Hughes Cup in C grade was convincingly won by another Bathurstian in Trent Hutchings with a score of 183 from George Smith on 189.
The C grade handicap saw one of our visitors in Ian Waterson snatch victory by the barest of margins on 155 from Chris Moase with 156.

Last Thursday we had a Individual Stableford and 2BBB.
In A grade Owen Roe had a fine 42 points to hold out Sel Coles on 41, while third went to Bob Dillon with 40.
Scratch belonged to Adam Stephens with 36 points.
Terry Staines led the way in B grade to record 41 points and win handsomely from Darren Miller on 37. Third was Ron Taylor on 35 (countback), while John Nicholl was the scratch winner with 17 points.
In the 2BBB Roe and Terry Lewis took top honours with 78 points to win from Warren Matthews and Miller on 72. Scratch went to David Lilly and Gil Luck with 55.

The Golf Club is hosting a members’ appreciation night on Thursday, November 29 from 6.30pm.
This idea has been brought up by some of our long standing members with the aim of instilling some spirit into the club.
The cost of the evening is $20 per head, which includes finger food for the majority of the evening.
Come up and catch up with some old friends, or if you are new to the club, come up and meet some new friends.
