Bathurst and Eglinton tennis clubs combined made up a third of the 90 competitors in the second last competition round of the year.
Experienced players all vying for a spot on the finals, while new players got their first taste of competition tennis.
The Champion of Champions is the best four players in each age group and will be in Bathurst next month.
Bathurst recorded wins in the 12 boys, 14 girls and 14 boys and had players come second and make the semi finals.
Grace Schumacher won the 10 girls and Daisy Hoskins was runner up.
Thomas Geyer won the 12 boys and Harry Brown was runner up, Gabby Mitton won the 14 girls, Rylee Swift won the 14 boys.
Alex Mitton was runner up in the 16 boys and Tim Daley runner up in the 21 boys.
Connor Lockey got four points for reaching the quarters of the 10 boys as did Sam Burrow for quarters in the 10 girls.
Henry Marson and Ben Parsons made the quarter finals in the 12 boys and Dominique Mitton for the 12 girls.
Tournament director Andrew Mitton said round 12 of the 14 rounds was a huge success.
“Competitors played in a round robin and the top two from the pools progressed to a knock out,” Mitton said.
“The winner got 10 points, runner up 8, semi finalist 6, quarter finalists 4 and every player got one point for participation.”
The Medibank junior development series aims do just that, develop young players.
“Players with the most points will return to Bathurst in August to play the Champion of Champions,” Mitton said.
“We have a lot of players who have already qualified.
“The top four from there will then progress to the state championships to be held in October.”
From round 12 Gaby Mitton, Alex Mitton, Rylee Swift, Tim Daley, Thomas Geyer, Harry Brown, Grace Schumacher and Daisy Hoskins are all expected to make the finals due to their accumulated points.
