Owners Craig and Dianne Sharah had lodged a development application seeking permission to demolish the three cottages and former greengrocers' store.
The said it was not financially viable to restore the cottages.
The Bathurst branch of the National Trust mounted a spirited campaign to save the cottages, accusing the owners of seeking "demolition by neglect".
