The first-time event was held in Tremain’s Mill and featured light installations, roving performances, fire-breathers, musicians, artisan stallholders and a live artist painting.
Mill owner Stephen Birrell said the event was an opportunity to show the community what the grand plans were for the site.
The event also showcased art prize entries with each artist asked to capture something that “was important to preserve for history”.
Greg Hyde was declared the winner on the night for his intricate drawing of Bathurst’s architecture, parks and scenes
Also announced on the night was the winner of the $2000 People’s Choice Award, while the $2000 Young Artist Prize was split between two artists.
