She was in the city for a two-days of funding announcements and on Tuesday night was guest of honour at a Nationals fundraiser with the party faithful.
During the event she spoke about the NSW Government’s funding contributions across a wide range of areas during the past 12 months, but the biggest reaction from the crowd was during a quirky question and answer session with moderator Sarah Boorer.
The premier was instructed that during the ‘Sixty Seconds With the Premier’ session quick answers were required.
Questions ranged from biggest political influence (her family), skill she would like (patience), worst habit (lack of patience), what she couldn’t live without (her mobile phone) and her favourite sport (golf).
Most embarrassing political moment? “I’d like to say it hasn’t happened yet."
- NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian
Also during the session, Ms Boorer asked: “What’s your most embarrassing political moment?”
“I’d like to say it hasn’t happened yet,” Ms Berejiklian answered.
Among the other quick-fire confessions from the premier was that she loved singing in the shower and playing golf, her favourite band is U2 and as a child she played “five or six musical instruments”.
Finally, when Ms Boorer asked Ms Berejiklian who she would least like to sit next to during a 20-hour flight, the premier answered, amid laughter, “Luke Foley or Bill Shorten”.
