PRESCHOOLERS and staff from Jenny's Kindergarten and Early Learning will be wearing their favourite team colours on Friday to raise $500 for children affected with cancer.

Around 110 children are participating in Footy Colours Day and will be wearing jerseys from the National Rugby League, Australian Football League, the national rugby union team and the A-League.
A cupcake and fruit salad stall has been organised for the kindergarten’s maiden event.

“We embed healthy lifestyle choices throughout our curriculum from zero to five years and we will extend on that by playing games that involve kicking goals, discussions about healthy eating and then having a picnic on the day,” centre manager Erin Judge said.
People will be encouraged to make donations to the Fight Cancer Foundation, a national charity providing care, treatment and support to cancer patients.
The foundation is trying to address the gap in educational support for kids and young people living with cancer.
