There win was dominant, taking the Division 1 scratch event with an aggregate score of 121 over 27 holes.
Ferris and Litchfield were the number one seeds in the event and they played to their reputation with their outstanding scores.
Both players proved to be strong drivers off the tee and they also showed great touch with their shots on and around the greens.
Jane Williams and Jan Ross played well to come second in Division 1 Scratch with 135.
Scores were very close in the Division 2 scratch with Letty Sams and Jan McDowell edging out Barbara Anderson and Kae Anderson in a countback on 152.
Foursomes can prove to be a challenging event, as players hit alternate balls and usually try desperately not to get their partner into too much trouble.
The championship is also over 27 holes in one day which is a tough, physical and mental test for the golfers.
All up, 40 golfers competed in the event, four less then last year.
However, competitors described the turnout for the championship event as “excellent”.
Last year’s tournament was won by Dee McCarthy and Kerry Davis, winning by six shots ahead of runners-up Denise Stapley and Denise Simpson.
Barbara Piddington and Manor Cooper were the division two champions as well, back in October, 2017.
The Bathurst Golf Club Ladies Foursome Championship was sponsored by the Governor Macquarie Motor Inn.
