Love Daphne, named in honour owner Tracey Pozza’s late grandmother, is selling an assortment of dresses, shoes and bags that will provide a nostalgic feeling for the older generation.
Opening on November 1, the plan to open a store like Love Daphne has been in works for several months now.
“I had been interested in doing something like this for a while and I was frustrated that I couldn’t get these 1950s outfits anywhere in Bathurst,” she said.
“The store is named after my grandmother, Daphne McKechnie. She passed away while I was young but I was close with my grandparents.
“I know they would love me doing something like this.”
Current stock comes from a variety of designers in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
“Love Daphne provides a different market that you can’t get anywhere in town,” Ms Pozza said.
Love Daphne is opened from 10am to 5pm from Monday to Friday (expect Thursday to 6pm and Wednesday to 3pm).
It is open from 10am to 1pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
