The young achiever acknowledges, encourages and promotes positive achievements of all young people in NSW and the ACT up to 29 years of age.
Mr Hockings, from Bathurst, has actively working on his own businesses since he was 21-years-old.
He has now taken ownership of the Royal Society Cafe, which employees multiple staff members in both front of hourse and back of house.
He’s previously been nominated for a young achievers award, has owned two cafes and three franchises all before turning the age of 26.
Mr Hockings has had to work multiple jobs to get where he is, working 12 plus hour days to make sure his businesses ran successfully.
Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an awards gala presentation dinner on Friday, March 1 2019 and category winners will each receive $1,000 cash and a trophy.
