The Bathurst all-rounder, who made her debut for Thunder last season, has been taking part in this week’s WBBL warm-up tournament at Blacktown.
In Wednesday’s fixture against Brisbane Heat, Griffith was one of the stars for a Thunder line up which fell 23 runs short of victory.
Heat won the toss and elected to bat first, making 9-137. Two of those wickets belonged to Griffith.
She struck off the first two deliveries she bowled – removing Sammy-Jo Johnson for 22 then Stephanie Baldwin for a duck, both being caught behind.

While Griffith missed out on her hat-trick as her next delivery went for a single, she finished with 2-16.
When it came to the chase Griffith top scored for Thunder with 42, but the Sydney outfit fell short of their rivals at 8-114.
That effort came after Griffith and her Thunder team-mates played two Twenty 20 matches against the ICC Women’s Global Development Squad on Monday.
The development outfit consisted of players from seven ICC nations - Australia, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Thailand, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe.
Griffith and her Thunder team-mates won both games, the first by 37 runs before a more convincing 90-run victory later in the afternoon.
In the first of those matches Griffith made 11 off 10 deliveries after coming in at number six, helping Thunder to a total of 7-151.

She was then thrown the ball to open Thunder’s bowling attack and while not striking in her initial over, made an important breakthrough when reintroduced.
With the first delivery of her second over she took a caught and bowled chance to dismiss opener Sterre Kalis – ICC’s top scorer - for 33. Griffith finished her four overs with 1-25.
In game two it was Griffith’s Thunder team-mates Alex Blackwell (51 not out) and Naomi Stalenberg (100 not out) who set up a comfortable win over the ICC outfit.
