The Youth Council’s inaugural Food & Flix is on this Friday, November 23 from 6.30pm-9.45pm at the Adventure Playground.
Mayor Graeme Hanger said the event was organised by young people for young people.
“With the warmer weather and longer days, it’s the perfect opportunity to pack a picnic blanket, head outdoors experience cinema in a different way,” Cr Hanger said.
Entry is free and screening of the movie, The Greatest Showman, stars at 8pm.
Mr Whippy, fresh popcorn, fairy floss and a sausage sizzle will be available, or you can bring your own picnic dinner to enjoy.
The Youth Council organises events for young people in the community and gives young people the chance to have a say on local issues that affect them.
