If the region was to receive the maximum rainfall forecast over the coming days, there would be more than 60 millimetres going into gauges.
The best day for rain is Thursday, where there is an 80 per cent chance of between 20mm and 40mm.
Meanwhile, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are all forecast to have between five and 10mm of rain.
There is also a 50 per cent chance of up to five millimetres on Saturday.
The week of rainy conditions comes after November surpassed its long-term average rainfall figure by nearly 30mm, the figure getting a boost from a 40mm downpour.
So far, Weatherzone reports Bathurst as having had no rain in December.
The city will need 65.3mm to fall in the right place to reach the month’s long-term average.
That average was exceed in December, 2017 when 94.2mm was recorded over the month.
