Both clubs have made excellent starts to the season, with the defending champion Saints coming off a big 7-0 win over Lithgow Zig Zag and CYMS accounting for Bathurst City 4-0.
Pat's coach Jaden Ekert said there's been an exciting build up to the round three contest.
"Everyone's talking it," he said.
"I thought that they would win but I didn't think they would win by that much. CYMS are always a great side with experienced players in key areas - much like us - but also have the X factor with their younger players, again, like we do.
"We're playing on their turf too, which makes it harder, but that's no excuse. We have to be ready for this."
The big scoreline over Zig Zag would suggest the Saints were playing at a high level but there's still room to grow while the season's in its infancy.
It was still an encouraging result after a long break between their two games.
There won't be as many scoring chances this time.
- Jaden Ekert
Ekert is chasing a more polished effort in the opponent's circle this time around.
"We just have to be vigilant and focus on the things that need improving," he said.
"Finishing off in the circle is one of those things. It could have been a much uglier score if we had finished more of our shots properly. We looked rushed in our attack.
"The difference this week is that there won't be 11 players behind the ball. We're going to be playing against a different structure and there won't be as many scoring chances this time so we've got to make sure that we take them when they come our way."
Pat's have almost all hands on deck for this Saturday's match, minus Mish Somers.
CYMS play host to the Saints from 1.55pm.
