They get a great chance to open their account and begin a fight back with this Saturday's match away to Lithgow Zig Zag, who are also on the hunt for their first win of the year.
Things simply haven't clicked thus far for a City side who, despite glimpses of promise, haven't picked up a goal from their defeats to Souths (1-0) and CYMS (4-0).
Zig Zag have watched the ball sail into the back of their goal 15 times in the space of just two matches and City will hope they can pile on more pain for the Lithgow squad.
To do that City have to put shots away. Simple as that.
Our young girls are training hard, they're putting in the commitment and improving their fitness.
- Lisa Quinn
Coach Lisa Quinn said her side haven't exactly been starved of goal scoring chances early on this season.
"We have to make the most of our opportunities and can't have any lapses of concentration but generally I feel like we've been playing well," she said.
"I know everyone gave their all and that's all I can ask of them. They just have to keep building and working together as a unit."

City get a welcome boost this Saturday with the returning of key players.
"We need to capitalise up front so hopefully getting Kelly Baker back into the attacking midfield will give us more options up front," Quinn said.
"She's very good with her decision making and passing options."
The club is fielding a new-look team this season and Quinn said there's no shortage of effort from her players when it comes to improving cohesion.
"There's been a bit of shuffling around and we've had a change in players from what we've had in the past couple of years," she said.
"Our young girls are training hard, they're putting in the commitment and improving their fitness.
"It's been really fun coaching them and it's reminded myself of why I like to coach and it's good to start fresh with some new players and get them to come on board with the systems that we play.
"Kelsey Webb is one of those younger players having a fantastic first run in Premier League. She's not shy of the ball, is running hard and making good decisions. She's looking really promising, to me."
City were big winners over Zig Zag in their latest meeting, a 6-1 victory in the closing round of the 2018 regular season.
Match starts at 3.50pm.
