Fifty to 60 riders are expected to be in Bathurst for the Long Ride 2019, which raises funds and awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
"Each iteration of the Long Ride commences with riders at various locations around the nation, joining together for a concerted arrival into the chosen target city for that year," ACT state co-ordinator Paul Carolan said.
"In 2019, the Long Ride will be travelling from all around Australia and converging on Darwin in the Northern Territory.
"As part of this journey, on the evening of May 10, riders from Victoria, the ACT and some NSW riders will be staying in Bathurst."
Mr Carolan said locals will be able to talk with the riders, "ask questions and find out more about the charity".
He said the riders will have dinner at the Bathurst RSL Club, where the mayor will stop by to meet them.
