St Pat's lead 2-0 in the game, courtesy of goals from Brent Naylor and Fletcher Norris, before Panthers drew level via a double from Nic Milner.
"We're happy with result but considering we were leading for most of the game, it was probably one that got away for us," coach Niel Howard said.
"It was a team effort all day, with Ben Kelly and Shane Conroy setting the structure at the back, while centre half Darcy Davis really control the game."
Naylor opened the scoring for the visitors, scoring from a penalty corner, while 15-year-old Norris scored in his first game on a full field, after previously playing 9s.
Panthers vice captain Trent MacDonald was disappointed in the slow start to the match but was satisfied with a 2-2 draw against the Saints.
"We probably played bad for the whole 60 minutes but we got away with it and turned it on there for seven or eight minutes and scored two goals there at the end," he said.
The Panthers were able to gain more possession and a few more short corners in the second half but still struggled to put the ball away, and with a few dominant players missing it showed, according to MacDonald.
"We had three dominant players out today including Brandon Horner, but we'll get them back in the next couple of weeks," he said.
In other results, Parkes United claimed a 4-3 win over Orange Wanderers.
St Pat's remain in second place with six points, tied with Panthers, but separated by goal difference.
