The Bathurst Winter Festival, now in its fifth year, will run from July 6 to 21, with the opening night - Ignite the Night - and the following Saturday - Brew and Bite - set to be the two feature nights of the festival.
The ferris wheel will return again, while the two-storey carousel will make a return after being replaced by the popular mirror maze in 2018.
Areas around Kings Parade, the Bathurst Court House and Machattie Park will also feature illuminations.
2) Bathurst Art Gallery
If you love movies, then you'll love Starstruck!
This exhibition reveals never-before-seen stories of Australian cinema and explores how cinema portraiture can create a bridge between the magic of a movie's fictional world's and the realities of film making.
Through photographic portraits, candid behind-the-scenes shots, rare film posters, casting books and original costumes, Starstruck celebrates 100 years of Australian cinema including watershed moments, iconic visions of Australian life, and a glimpse into the experiences of actors and crew.
3) Bathurst Regional Library
The Bathurst Regional Library hosts an extensive program each school holidays.
Throughout the 2019 winter holidays, the library will have activities that include children's yoga, paper craft, 3D printing workshop, a teddy bears' sleepover and storytime, colour therapy and a Lego block party.

4) PCYC Bathurst
PCYC Bathurst will host a range of activities throughout the school holidays.
Fully supervised activities often include indoor and outdoor ball games, gymnastics, circus skills, boot camp, in club movies, laser tag and tenpin bowling.

5) Farm rides at Barcoos Farmstay
Every day of the Bathurst Winter Festival, except Mondays, Barcoos Farmstay at 1080 Trunkey Road in Perthville will host farm rides.
Feel the crisp air on your face with a clip-clopping ride around the farm from 1pm to 3pm, then warm up with a hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows by the campfire.
Cost is $10 for a 10 minute sulky ride and bookings aren't required.
