Ice skating sessions over the weekend were sell out events, with the ferris wheel and carousel equally as popular.
Mayor of Bathurst, Cr Graeme Hanger described the festival as "brilliant" saying it was another very successful year, drawing tourists from all over Australia to the city.
"The post code break down was amazing; ticket sales for the ice rink were around 50 per cent for the 2795 postcode and 50 per cent outside the area.
"We have had visitors from Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. We had a number of visitors to the festival last weekend comment that they had day-tripped from Sydney for Brew and Bite as there was very little accommodation available in the city."
While ticket sales have yet to be finalised, as of late Friday Cr Hanger said ticket sales for the ice rink look to be on par with last year as did ticket sales for the other attractions.
"We were expecting quite a busy weekend with the forecast warm (compared to last weekend), and we weren't disappointed," he said.
"We expect the ice rink, across the two weeks of the festival, will have run at 80 per cent capacity (which is on par with last year).
"We have had multiple sessions book out especially those on the feature events Ignite the Night and Brew and Bite.
"Sessions on days where the weather has been warmer also tended to sell out. We have had a group of keen skaters who have returned to the ice rink every day of the festival.
"As of Friday we had sold 34,500 tickets on the ferris wheel and carousel and we expect that number to hit 40,000 by the end of the festival," he said
On average more than 3,000 people attended the winter playground each day of the festival to skate and or enjoy the ferris wheel and carousel.
