The team earned a wildcard slot for this October's Great Race along with Surfers Paradise and Sandown appearances.
All three Kosteckis, including current Super2 driver Kurt, are currently helping convert one of KBR's VF Commodores to ZB specification for the three endurance events.
Brothers Kurt and Jake continued their Dunlop Super2 Series efforts at the Century Batteries Ipswich SuperSprint over the weekend with Brodie on KBR team manager duties.
"I've stopped racing my car in the Dunlops Series so we can spend more time converting the Triple Eight chassis into a ZB Commodore to run it at Bathurst," Brodie Kostecki said on the Supercars series official website.
"It's great to have the relationship with Triple Eight that we do.
"Kurt used to work there and his Dunlop Series Commodore is run by them, so while we are building the car ourselves, we're constantly sharing information and learning from Triple Eight, which really helps our development leading into the endurance races.
"All three of us are working full-time at Kostecki Brothers Racing preparing the car for Bathurst, I'm doing a lot of the suspension work, Kurt is doing a lot of the conversion of the VF to ZB and Jake has been flat out on logistics.
"Overall it's a full family affair and we're tracking along nicely in preparation for the 1000 in October."
