The markets acted as a fundraiser for four-year-old Poppy Stanton, who is living with Rett Syndrome, a very rare disorder affecting just 200 Australian girls.
The Bathurst Uniting Church hopes to help the Stanton family reach their fundraising goal of $20,000 sooner by donating proceeds from its markets.
"We wanted to help because the need is high for them to get a puppy for her condition," co-ordinator Robyn Wray said.
