The show, entitled Toybox, will see Little Kaz, Little Alex, Little Ben and Little Nel rummage through a bottomless box of toys for coats to wear out in the rain.
Toybox will be the first production helmed by regular Fun Theatre performer Alex Vidler [Little Alex], who has succeeded Kathy Cameron [Little Kaz] as production manager.
"The magic of creating theatre for young children relies on imagination and when you can transform any common item into a prop, it provides a fun interactive experience," Ms Vidler said.
"I hope to expand this program's reach, but Kathy has built such an incredible foundation and I'll strive to live up to her unique approach to youth theatre."
Ms Cameron said Ms Vidler is an ideal successor, and wishes her all the best.
"I'll still be involved in shows next year, but Alex has so many great ideas and I'm willing to help her out however I can," she said.
Fun Theatre for the Very Young is an offshoot of the Bathurst Theatre Company.
Toybox will start from 11am this Sunday at the Bathurst CWA Hall. Tickets cost $5 [free entry for accompanying adults and babies].
