From 8am, members of the Bathurst community will have the opportunity to peruse through a variety of food, plant and beauty products produced by micro and small businesses from across the region.
Farmers' Market chair Paul Haysom said the final market of the year is often the busiest due to its proximity to Christmas.
"While extreme temperatures are predicted for this weekend, we encourage crowds to arrive early in the morning before it gets too hot," Mr Haysom said.
"Along with all our regular attractions [cakes, wines, vegetables etc.], we'll also have a stall specialising in smoked meats."
The markets will also feature students from Denison College Bathurst High Campus selling fresh brook trout.
Mr Haysom said the market is a key point of call for Lions Club of Bathurst fundraisers.
"We average around $1500 to $1800 each month, which goes back into a host of local charity initiatives such as the 2BS Lions Christmas Miracle Appeal," he said.
"The Christmas market has been tough for us to run in the past as many of our members regularly help with the packing for the appeal, but thankfully the events haven't clashed this year."
However, Mr Haysom said the drought has made things tough for the market this year.
"I know of at least 15 stalls who have stopped attending the market due to diminished supplies," he said.
"We're thankful for those stallholders who have stuck it out throughout the year, as it's certainly a tough time for local producers."
Mr Haysom said each attendee will receive a pamphlet at the front gate featuring the dates for next year's market.
"A number of small businesses have flourished on the back of their regular appearances at the market," he said.
"It's important to continue support for local producers in these trying times."
Saturday's market will also feature the Bathurst Panorama Chorus performing a host of Christmas carols.
