A development application (DA) has been submitted to Bathurst Regional Council seeking consent to turn the former Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs premises into a beauty salon.
The florist closed at the Keppel Street premises at the end of 2019, the business being moved to a larger premises in William Street.
According to the DA, the works to fit out the building for its new purpose would come at a cost of $15,000.
The plans show that the front of the shop would be a reception area, with the next two rooms to be used for providing beauty treatments.

A small office would be situated at the back of the premises, alongside the combined storage and preparation room.
A letter from architect Henry Bialowas was submitted with the DA, and in it he encourages council to approve the plans.
"This new enterprise represents a sophisticated addition to the specialist services the city can offer and will add slightly to the employment prospects of at least another beautician, possibly two," Mr Bialowas said.
The letter also details the types of services the beautician plans to offer.
These include facials, eyelash treatments, waxing and "similar benign cosmetic applications and treatments".
"The services provided do not include body piercings, tattooing or medical procedures," Mr Bialowas assured.
He said that the existing premises is well suited for a beautician and the plans for the businesses shouldn't increase the use of the building compared to what was seen with the florist.
"As the number of employees will initially be one, hopefully two, but no more than three with a part-time position, I believe this would not intensify the use of the building compared to its previous use as a florist," he said.
"As there are only two treatment rooms, this will limit the number at any one time.
"It is hoped that the preparation room might possibly be used as a back-up at peak times."
