It is the Bathurst 1000.
Campbell is currently taking part in his seventh Bathurst 12 Hour campaign and first as a factory Porsche driver. He is sharing the wheel of the #911 Porsche GT3 R with Mathieu Jaminet and Patrick Pilet.
Come Sunday he is hoping to add to his already impressive record in the 12 Hour, having claimed outright victory in the renowned enduro last year and class podiums in 2014, 2017 and 2018.
But when it comes to the marquee Supercars' event at the Mount, the 24-year-old's record is not as good.
On debut on in 2016, the Nissan Altima he shared with Todd Kelly was involved in an incident on lap 157 and ended up with a DNF.
The following year he co-drove the Red Bull Racing Holden Commodore of Shane van Gisbergen. While it finished fifth, Campbell struggled in the torrential rain which fell during the race.
He'd love a chance to do better.
But Campbell is also willing to wait for that chance.
"For sure I'd love to do the 1000 again. It hasn't been possible the last couple of years due to calendar conflicts, Porsche takes priority as that's what I'm doing now," he said.
"But if there's an option that arises in future years, for sure I'd like to do the 1000.
"At the moment I'm content with what I am doing. I am still young enough to be able to come back to Australia and maybe do it again later in my career."
As Campbell points out, his current focus is on his role as a Porsche factory driver.
He loves it is a role which gives him an opportunity to race at Mount Panorama against the best GT3 teams and drivers from across the world.
"You look at this year, the strength of the field and the teams and the drivers that have come over for it, it is just getting bigger and bigger each year. Obviously it's part of the Intercontinental GT Championship as well," he said.
"This is the place to do it in Australia, it is one of the world's best race tracks and it's my favourite.
"It's my only event I get to do in Australia these days, so it's number one on my list."
