The works will follow on from unscheduled repair works on the outdoor pool last year, which become necessary after several tiles began to dislodge from the pool walls during preparations for the 2019-20 summer season.
A report to tonight's (Wednesday's) Bathurst Regional Council meeting states that preventative maintenance works will be undertaken at "varying internals on an ongoing basis to all pools within the centre".

The report, prepared by director of Engineering Services Darren Sturgiss, says this will include the replacement of water proofing seals, crack control material and other minor structural works.
The work is estimated to come at cost of approximately $40,000.
"Such work is required to reduce the likelihood of major structural damage occurring and with this facility being over 10 years old, it is considered that preventative treatments are now due to the indoor pools at the centre," he said.
As the water supply and filtration systems for the leisure and program pools are connected, works on both will need to occur at the same time.
Mr Sturgiss said it was important to limit the inconvenience to patrons, so the timing of the works had been carefully considered.
For this reason, the works will occur in March and April, as this is the "least disruptive time", however a start date has not been set.
"It is also believed necessary that works be undertaken whilst the 50-metre pool remains open, as this will provide a separate pool to enable general swimming activities to be provided, while giving opportunity to have some of the services that are generally conducted within the program pool transferred to the 25-metre indoor pool," Mr Sturgiss said.

Council plans to provide additional stair access to the 25-metre pool over the works period, to assist patrons while the leisure and program pools are closed.
"It is envisioned that the works will take approximately six weeks to complete, however council will wherever possible endeavour to minimise the time taken to complete the maintenance works and have the pools back in operation for public use as early as possible," Mr Sturgiss said.
Notices of closure will be provided prior to works starting.
