Decorating the pavement of the entrance of Great Beginnings are chalk drawings including a positive message 'We're in this together', while the fence that faces Gilmour Street features balloon animals, artwork from children and more colourful chalk drawing.
Centre manager Erin Judge said the initiative is an Australian wide one, which aims to brighten the mood of people that are isolated and stuck at home to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
"We want to let people know we're here and we're still caring, loving and nurturing the kids for essential workers," she said.
"We've got children of nurses, paramedics, correctional services employees and staff from petrol stations and supermarkets.
"We want people in isolation to not be isolated from the community because we'll be here when this is all over."
Ms Judge said staff have worked hard with children to create the artwork that is now on display.
"The girls have been helping the children. It's a fun time and they really enjoy all the colours," she said.
"They love coming in and seeing their work hanging up for everyone to see."
Great Beginnings was operating with over 130 children prior to a massive increase of people working from home to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Unfortunately, numbers have now dropped to half of the original total.
Ms Judge said the staff at Great Beginnings is doing everything to make sure the children are kept healthy and safe.
"We've got all the health precautions in place and we're doing everything to keep them safe," she said.
Great Beginnings - located next to Paddy's Hotel - opened earlier this year, back in January.
