The Entertain Chain, according to Ms Ford, works a little like a chain letter.
The idea is that someone is invited to join the group, they share an activity to do at home with children, and then they nominate someone else to be invited to join.

Ms Ford said she and her fellow mums Kiera Pickett and Simone Meisenhelter hope their free Entertain Chain service will offer a new way "for parents to interact, source and share activities to entertain children of all ages while at home during isolation".
"We often get caught up in our work/life-balance lives that we might overlook - or take for granted - time spent with our children or partner," she said.
"The Entertain Chain offers a network of parents who are embracing creativity with easy-to-do activities while at home in isolation, and will encourage them to stay home during this isolation period."
In the coming weeks, Ms Ford said, The Entertain Chain will be introducing virtual children's workshops to the group, including crafts, cooking and live-streaming story and rhyme time from council libraries.
She said she and her fellow co-founders are hoping to make connections with Australian children-based businesses that may need a new platform to continue trading through the challenges caused by coronavirus.
The Facebook group was created only at the end of March, but already has more than 700 members.
