The only full-time female to have raced in Supercars will tackle Bathurst in a somewhat different fashion to her past experiences - this time it will be as a wildcard entry in the Supercars All Stars Eseries.
De Silvestro will use her regular #78, used on her Kelly Racing Nissan Altima between 2017-2019.
With no Nissans on the grid in 2020, the Swiss fan favourite is leaving it up to an online poll to decide whether her Harvey Norman-backed entry will be a virtual Ford Mustang or Holden Commodore in next week's online race at Mount Panorama.
De Silvestro, who will race from her home in Zurich, says she's looking forward to being back in the virtual Supercars paddock.
"I'm excited. I enjoyed every minute in Supercars and to return for the Eseries will be a lot of fun," she said.
"I've been keeping myself busy with online racing for Porsche in the virtual Mobil 1 Supercup over the past few weeks, so I'm confident.
"I love racing at Mount Panorama. It will be interesting going down Conrod Straight from Zurich.
"I'm looking forward to seeing which way fans go on the vote. I know how passionate Supercars fans are about their teams."
Voting on De Silvestro's entry into the Bathurst round of the All Stars Eseries can be done via the Supercars Facebook page.
