Bathurst's new Living Legends are Lachlan Rendall, Geoff Porter, Jane Rawlings, Arthur Davis, Dr Martha Gelin, George Gaal and David Pennells.
"While we aren't able to acknowledge their achievements in person this year, we will be back next year to recognise them alongside the 2021 inductees."
Mr Porter, who was inducted for his involvement with the Central West Charity Tractor Trek and his expertise as a builder, beekeeper and volunteer firefighter, said the induction was a total shock.
"It's an absolute honour to be chosen and I'd love to thank my three daughters for putting a nomination together for me," he said.
The Living Legends initiative was introduced in 2015 to recognise those who made outstanding contributions to the Bathurst region over the years.
In addition, the Pillars of Bathurst represent past residents who have played a vital community role in bygone eras of Bathurst's history.
The 14 Pillars of Bathurst inductees are George and Mary Basha, Haydn Larnach, Patric O'Brien, Arthur Budden, Ivan Cranston, Judy Webb, Harry and Brian Hodge, William Browne, Leslie Beavis, Reginald Pollard, PJ Moodie and Leo Grant.
