In line with the latest government restriction announcement the club will now be allowed to accommodate 50 patrons.
Until further notice entry will only be open to horse owners and club members but it's a welcome start for many connections who have been waiting for several months to get their fix of live racing.
Bathurst Harness Racing Club CEO Danny Dwyer said it's another welcome step on the long path towards normality.
"Hopefully over the next couple of months we'll be able to get back to full attendance at race meetings," he said.
"The club's all for doing what it needs to do to comply with the rules and regulations to make that happen. We've put some things in place for that to get started."
The limited number of positions available at each meeting means bookings must be made prior to the nigh to gain entry.
Owners of horses engaged in the meeting have first priority and must book prior to 4pm on the Tuesday before the meeting.
If there are any remaining spaces after this allocation then places will open up to club members, who can phone and book from 9am on the Wednesday morning.
Restrictions and important procedures still remain in place at the club.
Patrons must enter through the main clubhouse door and upon entry, temperatures will be taken and details noted.

No visits to the stables will be allowed and there will be socialising with participants.
"We're keen to get up to 50 people at every race meeting, but we'll have a lot of bio-security in place. Patrons won't be able to leave the clubhouse either. We need to do all the necessary things to get it all up and running again," Dwyer said.
"We can soon look forward to bigger and better things as time goes by."
Parkes were the first beneficiaries of the regionalisation rollbacks on Sunday when they hosted the first western region meeting held outside of Bathurst for several months.
The next step in those rollbacks will be horses outside of the metropolitan region being allowed to race at Menangle's Saturday night meetings.
From July 1 the boundaries between all regions will be dissolved and trainers will be able to enter their horses wherever they please.
The Bathurst club can be contacted for booking on 6333 5000.
Dwyer said that phone number has been receiving plenty of activity over the past few days.
"I think the phones started to ring on Friday afternoon straight after the fields were released," he laughed.
"I think everyone's pretty keen to get out there. It's been a fair while now since they could, just about three months, so I'm not surprised people are eager."
Wednesday evening's racing gets underway at 4.37pm.
