The DA submitted to council has requested approval for external alterations and new signage featuring the Commonwealth Bank logo at 80 William Street, the former site of the News on William newsagency.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
If approved, the work is expected to cost $170,000.
The proposal includes extensive signage at the front and rear of the premises, installation of new glazing and new doors and car park upgrades to the rear of the premises.
As of Monday, council is yet to make a decision on the DA.
A spokesperson from Commonwealth Bank was approached for comment on the DA, as well as what it'll mean for the existing branch at 171 Howick Street, but declined.
The DA can be viewed online at http://masterview.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/.
