SHE has led by example with her tackling pressure and winning a big amount of contested possessions and on Saturday Bathurst Giants captain Katie Kennedy inspired with an absolute banger as well.

With a water-logged Sherrin in her hands, Kennedy launched a shot from beyond the 50 metre arc and it sailed through for a major score.
It was just one of the highlights for the Giants as they posted a 9-11-65 to 2-2-14 win over Cowra at George Park 1.
"She just hit it very, very sweetly and to do that in wet weather footy - Katie just really stood up," Giants coach Liz Kennedy said.
Having suffered their first loss since the 2018 grand final a week earlier and with the Reid-Broes Cup on the line, the Giants were hungry to get the job done against the Blues.
While that's what they did - leading at every change and holding the Blues scoreless in the final term - the Giants coach said Cowra made her side fight hard for the win in the wet.
"There was a pretty big puddle on the far side they kept finding, it was a hard slog," Kennedy said.
"Full credit to Cowra, they pushed us for the whole four quarters and they were pretty unlucky not to get a few more goals. They had a full squad, they had subs and they really, really gave it to us.
"My girls wanted to do it for Sarah [Taylor] as she was playing against her sister, that added a little bit to their game too."
While Katie Kennedy was solid at centre-half-forward for the Giants, she was not the only player in the orange and charcoal to make an impact.
Olivia Johnston and Hailee Provest each booted three majors while two other Giants drew praise from their coach.
"Hailee scored a couple of her soccer off the ground goals and she did actually take a really good mark out in the pocket and slotted that through from a set kick," Kennedy said.
"Keira Germech is really starting to find her feet in our side now. Keira just plays outstanding, she finds the gaps for us and knows where to be.
"Liz Golsby was the other one who took some amazing marks."
