The second senior technology class of the year was booked out last week and the third will be held next week.
"The first class [on August 12, covering smartphones] was a real success with those attending really enjoying it and getting a lot out of it," Gunthers Lane community support manager Daniel Adamson said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Due to COVID-19, we haven't been able to run any community events in Gunthers Lane, so it was very exciting to see senior technology lessons go ahead again.
"We have put out a few restrictions that everyone must follow if they wish for these classes to continue for the rest of the year.
"We can only have 10 people a class, they must sign-up for the class before and once 10 people have signed up, the sign-up sheet is taken away and, unfortunately, no one else can join the class until the next lesson.
"We hope if people follow these restrictions, we can ease them in the coming months and have more regular classes and with more people attending them."
Mr Adamson said the senior technology classes cover the basics for those seniors who struggle to understand how to use the devices they may own.
"Learning how to use your phone can be a very daunting thing if you have no idea what you're doing," he said.
"There are so many different things on your phone screen and it can be intimidating to have a go at learning it yourself.
"All our senior classes will be for beginners as we focus on giving those with no confidence with their technology devices a lot more confidence.
"Breaking down the basics is what we'll be doing for the next few months."
The next senior technology class will be held on Wednesday, September 9.
"If you're interested in coming to a class, you must come into Gunthers Lane and sign up on our registration book at the front entrance," Mr Adamson said.
