An associate of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) is due in court today charged with firearms, weapons and animal cruelty offences following a raid in Little Hartley on Tuesday morning.

Police conducted a firearms prohibition order and weapons prohibition order at a home on Baaners Lane, Little Hartley about 10.25am on Tuesday.
Lithgow City Council rangers were also in attendance due to a number of alleged breaches in relation to the keeping of animals, illegal construction of a dwelling and environmental offences.
Police seized a pen knife, a flick knife, electronic control device, steroids, a crossbow, two replica firearms and electronic shock collars while at the home.

A 47-year-old man was arrested and taken to Lithgow Police Station and charged with:
- Four counts of possession or use of a prohibited weapon without permit.
- Possession of a prohibited drug.
- Two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol.
- Possession of a non-prescribed electrical device.
- Three counts of failing to provide proper and sufficient drink for an animal (x3)
He was refused bail to appear in Lithgow Local Court today.
