The Kelso bakery has produced a wide range of pastries to help colour Christmas lunch and dinner, and will be open until 5pm on Christmas Eve for those looking for a last-minute addition.
"We have many varieties of fruit cakes, as well as shortbread, brownies, mince pies, meringues, cupcakes and rum balls," Bakehouse on the Boulevard co-owner Lauren Mason said.
"This is the first time we've gone all out as a business for Christmas as last year, we opened two months prior to December and were still fine tuning the bakery."
Ms Mason said the bakery has been working on Christmas produce since late November, and the products have proven popular among the local community.
"We have a whole diary full of orders to get through for Christmas Day, so we're expecting a fair turnout of last-minute customers," she said.
"They're mostly bread orders, including cob loafs, French sticks and Vienna loafs."
Ms Mason said the staff are looking forward to a well-earned break after a busy December.
"We're planning to take a couple of weeks off before reopening on January 11," she said.
"We're very appreciative of the community's continued support in what has been a challenging year for local businesses."
Bakehouse on the Boulevard is situated at 1/56 Boyd Street, within the Kelso Centrepoint Shopping Centre.
