Parsons had made a subdued but winning first grade debut the previous weekend against Randwick Petersham, where he bowled five economical overs and made a brief appearance with the bat, but Saturday's latest effort was a truly memorable day.
The former St Pat's talent led with the ball as he claimed 4-15 from his 8.4 overs, including three maidens, to helped dismiss Penrith for 198.
Parsons made light work of the Penrith bottom order and earlier in the Penrith innings broke a promising partnership with the removal of Tyran Liddiard (12).
Gordon's chase got off to an excellent start thanks to the efforts of captain Tym Crawford (64), who continued his brilliant season with a fifth half century.
But his dismissal and two more quick losses in the middle order put pressure on number nine batsman Parsons to deliver in a tough situation.

Parsons, along with Max Newman, worked their way from 7-153 to 8-190 when the latter was caught.
However, Parsons found all the required runs himself to continue a dream run through his NSW Premier Cricket season.
Meanwhile, a brilliant individual effort from Bathurst's Callum Hotham wasn't enough to get Western Suburbs to victory in their second grade clash against St George.
Hotham found some much needed form with his 76, helping Wests reach 9-211, but an unbeaten century from Saints opener Josh Moors (110 not out) took his side to a comfortable win.
Bathurst's Max Hope led the way for Sydney University's second grade team as the skipper hit an unbeaten 49 runs against Campbelltown-Camden.
Meanwhile, Ben Mitchell's first grade uni side claimed an easy win.
