Throughout February female drivers across Australia will be donning teal pants and adding money to the cause for every driving and training victory.
In the space of just two Bathurst meetings there's been $4,200 raised at the venue, with Amanda Turnbull and Phoebe Betts leading the way with three wins each.
Isobel Ross and Steph Burley have also grabbed driving wins, while Burley plus Amanda and Wendy Turnbull have added money through training wins.
The Team Teal campaign has been well supported ever since its creation in 2014, coming about through the efforts of Duncan McPherson who lost his wife Lyn to ovarian cancer in 2010.
The program made its way from Victoria to New South Wales in 2016 before the rest of Australia got on board the following year.
It's been a memorable start to the 2021 campaign for Betts, who has already claimed three winners on her home track.
Betts missed out on a home win during last year's Team Teal window but has made her way to the winner's circle with Hey Mister Taylor (February 3), Speak With Sam and He Said She Said (February 7).
Her efforts on Hey Mister Taylor were declared the 'Drive of the Night' by the club.
Betts said the Team Teal campaign adds extra motivation to win at each meeting.
"It's a great cause and it's a great feeling when you can drive winners to help," she said.
"This is just my second year doing it. I might have got three or four winners last time.
"All the girls get around it and do their best to try and win as many of their races as they can."
Ross claimed the honours of being the first female winner of the month at Bathurst when she drove Matthew McCarthy's The Weekend to victory.
The next opportunity to add to the donation kitty at Bathurst will be at this Wednesday night's nine race meeting.
