Held in the Bathurst Indoor Spots Stadium, the clinic was presented by Australian Opal's star Lauren Nicholson, with the program focused on increasing female participation and player retention in regional NSW.
The program will be delivered in 10 locations over the next three years to more than 2000 female basketballers and coaches, with Bathurst being the first location off the rank.

Sydney Flames general manager Karen Dalton said she's passionate about improving basketball across NSW, particularly in regional areas.
"We're the only NSW based WNBL team and we're really passionate about improving basketball across NSW, particularly in the regional areas," she said.
"We do think these areas lack from having some quality people out here but every time we've been out here, it's always been warmly received by the community.
"I'm really passionate abut spreading this out to regional NSW, because I do think the metros are really well looked after."
Dalton said she was hopeful that the clinic was able to engage new players with the sport of basketball.
"Whilst numbers in local comps are quite good, numbers for girls are on the downhill. I think we got 65 girls at the clinic on Wednesday, which was just fantastic," she said.
"We're looking forward to engaging more people and showing them how much fun can be had when playing basketball."
The training clinic was held on Tuesday afternoon before a coaches clinic that evening.
As a former Australian Opal and Olympian, Dalton said basketball is a sport worth getting involved in.
"I loved it. It's active. I think it's very social, both boys and girls play it," she said.
"Everyone gets involved in the sport. In some of the other sports, not everyone is on the court at the same time or able to touch the ball, but in basketball it's a multi-skill sport that everyone can be involved in and shoot."
