Saints looked composed throughout the length of the weekend's clash, with Jaden Ekert finding a hat trick and the Pat's midfield bringing some of their best teamwork of the year to the Orange fields.
Co-incidentally, Pat's perfectly mirrored their scoreline from the previous round's win against Wanderers.
Bathurst coach Richard Sharp said there weren't many holes to pick in the methods his squad used through the match.
"It was a really solid win. I'm happy with the progression that we're making with our structure. It's coming together," he said.
"Parkes are a quality side with some great players. They impressed me the first time we played them in Parkes so we were ready for a tough game, so the result is a testament to how well we've developed.
"We're building and I wouldn't say we're exactly we're we want to be just yet but for this early stage in the season I'm really happy."
Riley Hanrahan, Tyler Willott and Cody Sherman all got themselves on the scoresheet for the Saints.
Sherman impressed Sharp, considering he had to handle a new role on Saturday.
"It was in the midfield where we won it. Parkes played a solid midfield game last time, so we changed things up to deal with that. We dominated there," he said.
"I tried a few new guys in there and they all stood up well. That was really pleasing. Cody Sherman has been an outsider defender during the season so far and I threw him to the wolves a bit but I was impressed by how he applied himself."
St Pat's now gear up for their second meeting of the season against the Lithgow Storm who beat the Saints 4-2 in their last head-to-head.
ST PAT'S 6 (Jaden Ekert 3, Riley Hanrahan, Tyler Willott, Cody Sherman) defeated PARKES UNITED 2 (Cody Kirk 2)
