After finding the front, the $2 favourite from McCabe's Bathurst stable cleared out for a three lengths win over Shecago (Damon Budler, $11) and Olivander (Blaike McDougall, $3.80) in the 1400 metres One Stop Automotive Class 1 Handicap.
It was the second career win for McCabe's gelding and comes after the four-year-old placed a close second at Parkes two weeks earlier.
Cowra jockey Cahill had earlier found success with David Smith's Tenango ($1.90 favourite) which overhauled the leaders to win the 1100 metres R & D Glass Maiden Plate from She's No Princess (Elissa Meredith, $11) and Mighty Minnie (Ken Dunbar, $4.40).
Jake Pracey-Holmes has a growing reputation for being a good rider of leaders and his judgement of pace was instrumental in a dashing win by Classy Rebel at Wellington.
From an outside barrier in a big field, Classy Rebel was sent to the front by Pracey-Holmes and by the home turn had established a sizeable lead in the 1100 metres Over The Line Racing Benchmark 58 Handicap.
The nearest rivals chased in vain and Classy Rebel ($13) breezed home almost four lengths in advance of Diamonds Are Good (Aaron Sweeney, $51) and Deshawn (Dunbar).
A winner two starts back at Binnaway, Dar Lunn trains Classy Rebel at Dubbo for Guy Mitchell from Binnaway and Rob Pratten from Dubbo.
Earlier, Pracey-Holmes had won the 1400 metres Keirle's Pharmacy Class 1 Handicap on Harley Fat Boy for Mudgee trainer Mark Milton.
Tracking the two leaders to the home turn, Harley Fat Boy ($2 favourite) then took control to score by over two lengths from Dissenter (Tony Cavallo, $4.60 ) and Preston (Angela Cooper, $26).
The first of two winners for Cavallo was the Alison Smith, Orange trained Gorgeous Am I in the 900 metres Satts Plant Hire @ Haulage Maiden Handicap.
Owned by Richard Lang from Orange and Nathan Smith, the husband of the winning trainer, Gorgeous Am I ($6.50) at the second start in a race shared the lead then gained a break to score by a half length from Carry On Cathy (Pracey-Holmes, $3.80) and Padrone (Michael Heagney, $18).
Cavallo then brought the David Smith, Mudgee trained Charlie Flyer ($7.50) with a well-timed run to win the 1400 metres Maiden Plate from Are You Certain (Eleanor Webster-Hawes, $2.70 favourite) and Hitman (Cahill, $10).
The other winners at the meeting were ridden by apprentices - Madeline Owen on the Cameron Crockett, Scone trained Fox Spirit ($3.40) and Damon Budler aboard Herzegovina ($7) from the Stephen Jones stable at Scone.
