Williams was one of the standouts at University Oval as she crossed for four tries and booted seven conversions, helping to make it five consecutive bonus-point wins for the defending premiers.
CSU coach Peter Plunkett said good work from the forward pack did play a hand in Williams' haul, but that her effort was none-the-less impressive.
"There was one classic try there, I think it was the last one she scored, the forwards potted it up through the middle and made really good space through the centre. They went to the blind, Steph [Doyle] took it right to the line and just gave a beautiful pass to Madi who was running flat out, it was just executed brilliantly," he said.
"Madi is having a really good season, she has developed into a really good line and hole runner, she hits it at pace. She is just timing her runs really, really well at the moment and is just having a wonderful season for us.
"I've moved her in a bit closer, I like her at inside centre at this stage, but I've got the luxury of really good backs and I can move them around. I'm still experimenting with what is our best combination at this stage.
"Every time she made a break they couldn't catch her, even though they were close to her, they weren't any faster than her and couldn't catch her."
Williams' performance highlighted just how much she has improved this season, but that is something which is reflected across the entire CSU squad.
With the more experienced players leading by example with consistently strong performances, the new members have lifted accordingly.
"It's a coach's delight at the moment because the areas I've targeted, they've improved every week," Plunkett said.
"Sometimes in footy you can drop your standard down to the opposition, but we haven't done that.
"Every restart we treat it like it's the first minute. I don't have to say anything, they do it all.
"Maddi Thompson, some of the tackling she was doing, honestly it was just copy-book and she was outstanding in attack as well. Steph, she's a real good little organiser, she's got a real good footy head."
Doyle and Thompson were also amongst the try-scorers, as was Jacinta Cooper (three), Meg Sprague and Gaby Downing.
While Wellington was well-beaten, Plunkett said they were better than what the score line suggested.
"They are on their way up again. I know the score doesn't really reflect it, but they were tough and I think they'll give a lot of teams a shock when they play them," he said.
"Good on them I think it was the third time we could have contested scrums, they put their hands up for that. They could tackle, they were just a little bit disjointed and you could see they were just a new bunch of girls thrown together."
CSU 78 (Madi Williams 4, Jacinta Cooper 3, Steph Doyle 2, Meg Sprague, Gaby Downing, Maddi Thompson tries; Madi Williams 7, Sofia Bamonte, Steph Doyle conversions) defeated WELLINGTON REDBACKS 5
