One of Australia's most respected social psychologists and writers, Hugh Mackay's new book, The Kindness Revolution, was written in response to the bushfires and worldwide pandemic experienced last year.
Mackay will discuss how best to incorporate the lessons learned during 2020 to build a stronger, more resilient society with more compassion, respect and harmony.
Written for our times, his book and talk will show how crises and catastrophes can often be the making of us and why radical kindness is the key to healing.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 16 at Keystone 1889 from 5.30pm.
Tickets cost $5 and are available online. For more information, call BooksPlus on 6331 5994.
