COACH Di Coombes might have joked it was the influence of a lucky coin she found, but she knew it was seriously good team work that was behind Panthers Allsorts' win on Saturday.

Allsorts picked up its second win of the Bathurst Netball Association A grade season, beating fellow newcomers to the top flight in Superstars United 37-26.
For much of their campaign thus far Allsorts has had to deal with unavailabilities and it was the same on Saturday.
Grace Kemp was ruled out with tonsillitis and another player sidelined with a broken foot, meaning Tayaha Hobby stepped up from A reserve 2 outfit Panthers Mustangs to help out.
But Allsorts, who last faced Superstars United in the 2020 A reserve 1 preliminary final, managed to take the lead in the second quarter and from there go on with the job.
For Coombes, who produced a 'lucky coin' from her pocket after the match, the victory came as a good reward for the effort the Allsorts side has been putting in.
"They've just been unlucky, they've had injuries and struggled for seven every week," she said.
"We've had seven every week and dragged, there was one week where we had six and it's just so hard to pull players up because we've got the two teams in A grade and can't take from each other.
"But they only lost to Collegians by one point and then against Nova we were unlucky too, we only had seven and fitness just ran us out."
After the opening quarter on Saturday the rivals were locked at 7-all, but in the following period three consecutive goals from Charli Lynch - one of Allsorts' best - then another two from goal shooter Abby McDonald made it 15-10.
Allsorts carried that five-goal margin to half-time, but Superstars came back at them in the third.
Superstars got within a goal of the lead mid-way through the quarter before Lynch helped swing momentum back in Allsorts' favour to make it 31-26 at the final change.
In that last quarter Allsorts managed to hold Superstars goalless to ensure the victory.
The two sides will meet again this season as the A grade competition now splits in two.
Superstars, Allsorts, Nova Sky and Bulldogs Hurricanes will battle it out for A reserve 1 honours while Collegians, Panthers, Bulldogs Verdelho and Scots All Saints College remain in the A grade premiership.
Coombes hopes more success lies in wait for Allsorts.
"They're a good young team and have been doing really well. I thought we were very good in defence today, hands up was strong, but I thought we were very good all over," she said.
"We've just got to get a full team here and we'll give it a good shake."
