Lamperd, eight-years-old, finished second overall in the Micro Max category as he bounced back in a big way from a disappointing start to his weekend.
The Rotax Pro Tour is a national series held across four rounds at a range of Australian tracks, with tickets to next year's Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals at Bahrain going on the line.
Lamperd's father, Mike, said his son's achievements are a great effort for someone who only took up the sport around 16 months ago.
"He's doing really well at the moment. He's competing in a championship hoping to get to worlds in Bahrain, and then looking at the Australian Championships next year," he said.
"He's also doing the Southern Stars series here in the Central West. He's had a great start to that. He's won the first three rounds there.
"His achievements late last year were noticed by a team, DR Racing, and he's driving for them now. They partially sponsor him as well.
"He's still got a full year remaining in this age category too.
"There's a lot of great drivers around and he's racing with a few of them. On any day there's probably five kids that can win it so it's very tough when you get to that level. It's a strong level of competition."
The remaining rounds of the Rotax Pro Tour will be held at Coffs Habour, Geelong and Canberra.
