A man has been charged with multiple drug-related offences after police say they uncovered a hydroponic cannabis set-up in Kelso.

Officers attached to the Chifley Police District Proactive Crime Team at Bathurst started an investigation on Tuesday, June 15 into hydroponic cannabis cultivation at a home in Kelso.
Following extensive inquiries, police say they are attended a home on Douglas Court, Kelso, and spoke with the male occupant.
Police will allege a hydroponic cannabis set-up was located in the garage.
A crime scene warrant was executed at the home, during which police seized approximately 3.8kg of cannabis leaf, 16 cannabis plants, hydroponic lighting and equipment.
The man, aged 34, was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station.

He was charged with enhanced indoor cultivate cannabis for commercial purpose, supply cannabis - more than indictable quantity, and possess prohibited drug.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
