A host of the PCYC's young parkour participants have been filmed showcasing their extraordinary skills as part of an installation in Machattie Lane entitled iMovement.
PCYC Bathurst manager David Hitchick said the organisation was contacted by ESEM Projects director Michael Killalea to put together an installation showcasing the talented street skills of parkour athletes.
"We've got some great kids here with incredible parkour skills, and they had a great time filming certain moves here and around town," Mr Hitchick said.
"While they knew what the film was going to be used for, I don't think they knew the scale of the illumination, and I hope they get a real thrill out of seeing themselves on the side of the building."
The soundtrack for iMovement was provided by Mitchell Conservatorium composer Todd Brownlow.
Mr Hitchick said Bathurst PCYC has been running the parkour program for four years, and has seen a host of talented individuals walk through the doors.
"We're up to our second generation of coaches who were once students themselves, and they're bringing kids through who really enjoy parkour," he said.
"It's a popular activity, and we're constantly trying to grow its appeal."
The iMovement illumination is on display in Machattie Lane, between George Street and the Bathurst RSL Club car park.
