SES Western Region media office David Rankine said the river will be monitored in the coming days, considering forecast for rain and snow.
"The Macquarie River at Bathurst is currently below what we consider a minor flood level," he said.
"All the rivers upstream from Bathurst - the Fish River, Campbell River and even Queen Charlotte's Creek at Georges Plains - are all steady.
"None of those rivers are rising. Based on that, we expect that the low level bridge won't go under, but we'll be keeping a very close eye on them in the next few days if we get significant rainfall."
