Painting of the Moxon Grandstand has ceased for the time being, until more favourable weather can see work continue according to showground land manager Andrew Fletcher.
"The wonderful rain has interrupted Hines Construction with their planned painting of the Moxon Grandstand but they will get back to that as the weather starts to warm," he said.

"The work in the grandstand has also revealed even more damaged than was first envisaged but thankfully with the assistance of the NSW Government funding, all this has been repaired as part of these current works."
Currently the roof is being replacing and the structure of the Goat Pavilion and shearing shed are being repaired.
Work have also resulted in the land manager office being relocated to a temporary office at the front gate.
"Staff have come to like their new location, which is much more convenient for all our visitors to check in," Mr Fletcher explained.
"The trotting trainers have always been flexible when we have needed to shift their training schedule around to suit an event or activity and they have continued to support us as the works progress."
Input has also been sought from the Bathurst Garden Club when it comes to the main entrance, providing a detailed plan including planting options.
"The project was interesting because of the heritage nature of the site. It gave several members great satisfaction to work the land manager," garden club's Peter Varman said.
