IDEEL Girl wasn't expected by most punters to be figuring in the finish of her race at Tyers Park on Monday but they got this one very wrong.

The three-year-old Dundeel filly stunned the field in the Pearce Furniture and Bedding Lithgow Maiden Plate (1,400 metres) by winning at odds of $51.
Ideel Girl led the field into the home straight with all of the race's best-backed hopes right on her tail but when jockey Anthony Cavallo asked her to fight hard to the line she was more than happy to oblige.
Winning trainer Richard Litt said a hint of her potential was there considering the way she finished off her previous race.
"Last start at Goulburn was probably just a bit too short for her and she found the line well on a rough track," he said.
"We didn't think that she'd be able to win like that but she's done very well.
"I didn't think that she'd be ridden like that but out of the wide barrier Tony opted to go forward and it ended up being a very good win. We're all really happy.
"I thought that the ground there today wasn't too bad for her, considering what she had been on before."
Ideel Girl started her race well out of barrier eight but found herself caught outside Lady Shenanigans and race favourite Surreel ($2, Alysha Collett), who had both begun strongly to her inside.
With no chance of sliding safely behind Surreel Cavallo opted to put in some early work to get himself ahead of the pair.
Ideel Girl had a two length advantage over the two challengers behind her at the 800m, with Wolf Warrior and Hope Uno a further length and a half away.
Collett, on Surreel, had to work the favourite to keep her on the tail of Ideel Girl and struggled to hold that position.
Surreel gave up a bit of ground with every stride and with 200m to go it was clear that the challenge would have to come from someone else to prevent a huge upset.
The Dance ($5, Mikayla Weir) and Wolf Warrior ($5, Mathew Cahill) were both winding up with late flashes out wide.
The chasing pair finished superbly but they had too much ground to make up on Ideel Girl, who would unexpectedly end her hunt for a maiden victory at career start number three.
Litt said the three starts at Cowra, Goulburn and Bathurst are already enough for the filly this preparation, considering her light frame.
"She'll probably be off to the paddock now. She deserves a break," he said.
"She's only a little filly, an immature Dundeel filly, so we'll give her a little bit of time there and she'll come back before Christmas and be a nice horse."
The Dance ended up holding out Wolf Warrior in the fight for second, both finishing a length and a half away from Ideel Girl.
